About tecari designs

My name is Tessa and I am the owner and artist behind Tecari Designs.

I started my business in Autumn of 2023 with the aim of bringing joy to others but also myself. I felt stuck in my previous job and being creative allows me to express the best parts of myself. Knowing the life that I wanted, I decided to quit my job as a Property Consultant and embark on my small business journey.

I studied Design for Textiles at Heriot-Watt University and fell in love with the design process for print. I have a degree in Printed Textiles and I wanted to use my passion and knowledge to create Tecari Designs. I specialise in digitally drawn art prints where I create playful, fun designs; my main aim is to put a smile on peoples faces for those that come across my work. I aim to provide high quality products whilst equally being as sustainable as I can be. The quality of the papers I print on and the nature of it are really important to me. I try to use materials that are sustainably sourced where I can and I am always seeking to reduce my use of plastic packaging.

Tecari Designs is about celebrating good times over the food and drink you love. I am a huge foodie so this is where a lot of my inspiration comes from; the flavours, ingredients, colours etc, all play a massive part. I want to celebrate the special moments shared across the table with family and friends.
